You can read this page without signing in. It explains how to delete your Planless account. The website and the app use the same login. Deleting your account in the app also deletes the website account, and deleting it on the website also deletes the app account.

On the website

1. Sign in on the Planless website with your email and password, or with Google.
2. Open your account menu and choose Profile, or go to the profile page. The page title is Account settings.
3. Find Security & preferences.
4. Choose Delete account.
5. When you see “Delete your account?”, choose Delete account again. This permanently removes your account and everything saved to it, and it cannot be undone.

You are signed out after the account is deleted.

In the Planless app

1. Open the Account tab and scroll to the Account section at the bottom.
2. Tap Delete account and read the explanation.
3. Type DELETE and tap Delete my account.
4. You'll be signed out and see “Your account was deleted.”

If you cannot use the app or the website

Email us and ask us to delete your account. Include the email address on the account so we can find it.

We'll delete your account within 7 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

These are deleted right away when the account is deleted:

• Your account, trips, preferences, budgets, purchase records, notification settings, and profile photo

What may be kept

• Cached trip text expires within 24 hours.
• Anti-abuse counters are kept for up to 30 days.
• Hosting logs are kept by our host for a limited period.
• Payment records are kept by Lemon Squeezy, PayMongo, Google Play, and Apple for as long as tax law requires. Our own copy is deleted with the account.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel it in the store.

If your website plan renews by card through Lemon Squeezy, cancel it from Manage billing on your account page before you delete. Deleting your account does not stop that renewal. PayMongo website plans are renewed by you, so they do not charge you again on their own after the account is gone.
